Viva L'Italia! Part Six: North Western Italy

Day 39: Manarola
Arrive at Hostel 5 Terre, Manarola and explore our surroundings.
Lemon marinated anchovies and lobster pasta shared by all of us at Marina Piccola, a restaurant overlooking the sea.
Day 40: Hike from our hostel to Corniglia
Hiking along the perilous path that connects five charming fishing villages, known as Cinque Terre, we were rewarded with intoxicating views of the changing blue-green sea, grape vines, and olive, lemon and orange trees.
Day 41: Riomaggiore, Monterosso
Wanting to see all 5 villages, we took the train to begin in Riomaggiore and end at the beach in Monterosso. http://www.parconazionale5terre.it/Emap.php
Day 42: Depart Cinque Terre/Arrive in Tuscany

Tips:
1. Definitely stay in one of the 5 towns as the throng of tourists leave on the last train and you are left with a quiet town to enjoy in the evening.
2. Use the website listed above to plan your walking tour. Do at least one hike as the views from the hike are breathtaking.
